Closing Announcement

After long consideration, I've decided to close Composer Press.

If you need a referral to other music printers or general music preparation advice, please feel free to reach out. I am happy to provide recommendations and information as I am able.

Starting in November I will sell as much equipment and inventory as possible and shut the company down by the end of 2026. If you or anyone you know are interested in purchasing equipment or stock, please reach out - my email address is in the site header. I will send a detailed list of all equipment, paper, binding materials, and my asking prices to interested parties in early November.

I started this business eight years ago to help musicians who didn't have the need or perhaps the budget required for full-service music preparation companies, but who also didn't want to deal with the headache of managing their own print and assembly work. It's been very gratifying to be able to do exactly that.

I'm very grateful for the experiences I've had as a result, and will carry them with me. I've met many wonderful musicians and built relationships that I hope will last far into the future. I've had the opportunity to guide people new to the industry or preparing for their first professional recording session, and shared (and gained!) plenty of knowledge with experienced folks as well.
